St Kitts and Nevis PM Terrance Drew arranges New Year Gala

The event was Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew's first gala as the prime Minister.

The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Dr Terrance Drew hosted a New Year’s Gala at the St Kitts Marriott resort on Saturday, January 7, 2022. The event was Prime Minister Drew’s first gala as the prime Minister. All the prominent leaders of St Kitts and Nevis, including the premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, were present at the event on Saturday.

Dr Terrance Drew shared the update on his social media, saying the event was a success. Dr Terrance Drew further noted in his post that it was an unforgettable event. He thanked the keynote speaker of the event, Ambassador Elizabeth Thompson, for attending the event. The Prime Minister also called her brilliant. He praised the ambassador for her humour and intellect.

The Prime Minister also noted that she challenged the attendants to contribute towards developing the Caribbean and making it into a new space of global leadership. At the same time, Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew also applauded the performances of the entertainers at the event.

The Prime Minister’s new year Gala has entertainers like Infamus, Dejour, Mimi, EK Real Right, Queen Independent, Rucas, and Jnysis Band. Special acts were done by Instagram comedian Rohan ‘Quite’ Perry and recording artiste and songwriter Bugle.

Prime Minister Drew complimented the performances of the entertainers, saying, The performances were outstanding. He stated that he admires the talent of our local artists: Rucas, Dejour, MiMi Armstrong, Brotherhood Drummers, and Jynsis Band. You kept us all rocking and engaged all night.

Talking about the special performances, Dr Drew noted that Rohan ‘Quite’ Perry was a class act. His comedic performance was quite entertaining and engaging.

Dr Terrance Drew thanked Bugle for his excellent performance and soulful reggae vibes. During the event, Dr Drew appreciated the good wishes and commendations on the job we have been doing thus far.

Dr Drew also extended his gratitude to the organizing committee of the gala for arranging the event. Further, he thanked the attendants for coming and making the New Year’s Gala special.
