St Kitts and Nevis PM Terrance Drew to host first New Year’s Gala

The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, will host his first New Year Gala at the St Kitts Marriot Resorts on Saturday, January 7, 2022.

The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, will host his first New Year Gala at the St Kitts Marriot Resorts on Saturday, January 7, 2022. Dr Drew made the first announcements of the new year’s gala in December. Reportedly, the inaugural gala hosted by the Prime Minister is in great demand. The anticipation for the event is evident in the fact that all the tickets for the gala are sold out. 

The event is set to welcome several Prominent personalities, including the Ministers and political leaders of St Kitts and Nevis. The guest list also includes the Deputy President of the Senate of Barbados, Elizabeth Thompson. Ambassador Thompson will serve as the keynote speaker in the event. As per the update provided by the SKNIS, the event will be a black tie and red carpet event and start at 7:00 PM on Saturday, January 7, 2023. 

The exclusive event will also have entertainment from several celebrated artists and musicians, including the recently crowned Senior Calypso Monarch, Queen Independent. Other famous artists who will entertai the attendants of the event include:

  • Infamus 
  • Dejour 
  • Mimi 
  • EK Real Right
  • Rucas 
  • Jnysis Band

Jamaican Instagram comedian and internet star Rohan ‘Quite’ Perry and recording artiste and songwriter Bugle, will also be present at the evening to deliver the special acts for the evening of the gala.

The audiences know the first performer, Quite Perry for his performances on Jamaican stereotypes. Especially the world knows him for playing with the stereotype of Jamaican mothers. Reportedly, with the help of his short comical clips he earned a following of more than 700,000 dedicated fans. 

Meanwhile, Bugle is easily distinguishable in the dancehall fraternity for his timeless lyrics and thought-provoking songs. The artist’s songs play on listeners’ emotions. Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew and the inaugural committee of his gala expressed their gratitude to the patrons for their support. They also extended their apologies to those who were unable to purchase the tickets for the gala.
