The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Ernest Hilaire, took to his social media account to congratulate Saint Lucian artist and musician Teddyson John for his great success at the carnival in Trinidad and Tobago. Reportedly, Teddyson John headlined his acoustic soca show at the Carnival in Trinidad and Tobago. The show was titled, Stripped: A Teddyson John Experience.
Deputy Prime Minister Hilaire took the opportunity to express his pride in the achievement of his fellow Saint Lucian. He addressed, Teddyson as a Saint Lucian brand ambassador, singer, songwriter, and percussionist. Minister of the creative economy Hilaire also noted that John has been in the entertainment industry for almost a decade. He is also the first Saint Lucian to headline a Soca concert in Trinidad and Tobago.
