The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Ernest Hilaire, came on his social media account to share an update regarding the rehabilitation of the Ciceron Playing Field. The Minister of Creative Economy, Hilaire, shared that the development of the sports playing field will add to the sporting capability of the island. The Deputy Prime Minister shared some images featuring the new development on the Ciceron Playing Field.
The Deputy Prime Minister shared on his social media account thatthe rehabilitation of the playing field is well underway. He further shared that the rehabilitation authorities planted grass on the surface of the playing field over the weekend. Additionally, the WASCO is in the process of establishing a water connection to the area for irrigation and all the supporting services of the Ciceron Playing Field.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia shared that The upgrades to the field will provide the community with a facility for sports, youth engagement and community development. The initiative of the government of Saint Lucia was met with applause from the people. Several social media users also took to their social media accounts to share their excitement over the developement in the community. The Deputy Prime Minister was lauded for sharing the updates on the initiative and the images of the updates made in the playing fields.
One of the social media users even shared his advice on further developing the Ciceron Playing Field. Social media user, Leslie Charles shared that Rain water should be harvested from buildings within the vicinity and stored for irrigating the grounds
