Saint Lucia: Ernest Hilaire promotes Tourism through CTO meeting

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism in Saint Lucia, Ernest Hilaire, took part in the 81st Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) in Curacao.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism in Saint Lucia, Ernest Hilaire, took part in the 81st Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) in Curacao. As per the update by the Caribbean Tourism Organization, they are hosting these meetings in Curacao at the Renaissance Wind Creek Resort. Deputy Prime Minister shared several glimpses of the meetings’ proceedings through his social media.

As per the update shared by Deputy Prime Minister Hilaire, the CTA, or the Caribbean Travel Authority, aims to position the Caribbean as a destination that travellers can visit at all times and months of the year. Hilaire attended the 81st Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) as minister of tourism & creative economy of Saint Lucia.

Ernest Hilaire is highly committed to uplifting and popularizing the tourism product of Saint Lucia. Accordingly, he makes sure to attend these meetings, representing his country’s tourism sector. Therefore, Hilaire communicated through social media that the meeting was extremely productive. During the business meeting on February 9, 2023, the various stakeholders of the Caribbean Tourism Industry came together to discuss the future.

Minister of Tourism, Saint Lucia, noted that during the meeting, they received updates from discussions during the previous sessions. These discussions assisted the tourism stakeholders in charting their way forward as they entered the new year 2023.
