He was caught with various arms, explosives, ammunition, and devices used to manufacture bombs.

Authorities revealed that the suspect is particularly from Zamfara State and is in detention at the Taraba Police Command in Jalingo. He is also a member of a kidnapping gang terrorizing Kogi, Niger and Taraba states for more than a year now.

This year, on April 19 and 22, two improvised explosive devices burst, killing no less than ten people in two different attacks in the Taraba state, both at drinking joints. Almost after 18 days after this attack, another explosion happened at the headquarters of the six-brigade Nigeria army located in the state capital.

While acting upon credible intelligence, the police got into action, which led to the arrest of the bomb manufacturer.

While taking the 37-year-old suspect, the Commissioner of Police of the state, Abimbola Sokoya, disclosed that the police had spread their dragnet and soon operatives will capture two other suspects who are presently at large even as investigations continue.
