Governor Bala visited Abu Dhabi for the 8th World Investment Forum

Governor Bala's mission for the growth and development of Bauchi State

The Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, is highly devoted to the development of Bauchi State. He has been collaborating with various associates related to business, tourism and agriculture.
Recently, Senator Bala travelled to Abu Dhabi, UAE, for the 8th World Investment Forum. The main aim of the summit was to highlight the significance of championing, patronizing and strengthening the local vendors of Bauchi, which will help the state officials to draw further investments for the development of Bauchi state.
The summit was held in Abu Dhabi on 16 to the 20th of October by Unctad. Ample programmes took place at the summit, including GLOBAL LEADER’s INVESTMENT DIALOGUE, PROMOTING INVESTMENT IN THE BLUE ECONOMY, SUMMIT ROUNDTABLE: SMALL ISLAND DEVELOPING STATES AND INVESTMENT GUARANTEES, INVESTMENT PROMOTION AND ITS IMPACT ON GENDER EQUALITY, ISLAMIC FINANCE FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, FDI STATISTICS SYMPOSIUM and many more.
Many speakers were invited, including Senator Bala Abdulkadir. The summit attracted many big partners, according to events.
The event focussed on many issues, including food security, energy transition, health systems, enhancing productive capacity, financial crisis, and supply chain resilience.
Governor Bala also stated that his administration is committed and looking forward to renovating the state’s skill acquisition centres. This will constantly prioritize both the tourism and agriculture sectors.
The previous agricultural projects have been going well, which means that Bauchi state officials are able to extract most from the future investments.
Governor Bala is highly committed to the development of the agricultural sector. Recently, he met with the Beijing Forestry University officials. The meeting was carried out to initiate strategic cooperation between the Beijing Forestry University and Nigerian states that have rich forest reserves.
He further added that all Bauchi state citizens will have enough business and job opportunities, especially for the young people and the women. This will empower the women of Bauchi state.
