India: Manipur CM N Biren Singh calls C20 meet a sign of development

The Chief Minister asserted that the state hosting critical international-level events as a part of the G-20 presidency of India would bring greater visibility for the state.

The Minister also stated that they are witnessing developments in the state. The situation within the state, when it comes to law and order, has improved significantly. CM Biren gave the development credit to the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi and the people of the state. He added in his remarks that the people are proud of India for being the president of the G-20.

Talking about the presidency of the G-20, CM N Biren Singh stated that it is a proud moment for the people. He also noted that the theme of the g-20 presidency is apt. PM Narendra Modi chose it to be “Vasudheva Kutumbhakam”. It translates to “One Earth, One Family, One Future”.

The Cheif Minister observed that the theme of India’s G-20 presidency is “a universal maxim whose purpose is not imposition but the evolution of human consciousness” The government India hopes for the protection of the world through friendship and co-operation between the various countries of the world.

At the same time, the chief Minister remarked that the presidency comes at the beginning of India’s Amrtit-kal. India is in the 76th year of their independence from British colonialism. The country is emerging as a world leader in several aspects. The Amritkal will lead the country to become a futuristic, prosperous, inclusive and developed society.

The country is already working on practicing Vasudheva Kutumbhakam as they have supported several countries in the hour of their need. During the Covid Pandemic, the government provided several nations across the globe access to the vaccines. The government also offered foods and manpower to disaster-hit and war-torn nations
