The government of Dominica is offering a business opportunity to small businesses under the initiative of the Health and Wellness Micro Trade Show. Accordingly, The government has invited all the country’s small businesses to register. Meanwhile, The Ministry of Labour Public Service Reform, Social Partnership Entrepreneurship, and small business development are responsible for hosting the initiative.
Additionally, As per the update shared by the ministry, all businesses can register for the trade show free of cost. The government has announced that they will host the trade show over two days: June 9 to June 10. The theme of the 2023 edition of the trade show is: “Health and Wellness – Your Body. Your Responsibility.” Further, The Stadium forecourt will serve as the venue for staging the small business trade show.
The Ministry of Labour, Public Service et al. invited the country’s people to attend the event. The trade show aims to promote the interests of the country’s small business owners. The organizers want to allow business owners to showcase their products to the country’s people. Accordingly, the businesses will get the exposure they deserve, and the locals will also get the opportunity to support local businesses.
The event will run from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM on both days. While the registration process is free of cost for small businesses, there are some requirements they need to meet before registering. The requirements are:
Products/Services must have a health & wellness focus. The products may focus on nutrition, fitness, alternative medicine, mental health, skin & hair care etc.
Business must fall in the category of a Micro/Small Business. The Department of Labour has encouraged all the country’s people to register their presence during the two-day Micro Trade show.
For business owners, the government has given the facility a QR Code. Small business owners only need to scan the QR code, and they will automatically redirect to the registration process for the event.
