Muzzafar Ahmad Dar, a resident of the Bandipora district of Kashmir, plays a crucial and instrumental role in developing the state’s youth. Dar is a significant influence on the youth of the state. The youth population of the state, especially in his hometown in Bandipora, has been benefitting tremendously because of the martial artist. He teaches the children of the state of the art of Jiu-Jitsu.
He is passionate about martial art and started his journey in the field of martial art at a young age. He was only 16 when he discovered Jui-Jitsu. Subsequently, he fell in love with the art. As he ventured deeper into the art, he started several classes for the youth of the state. The instructor runs many Ju-Jitsu Clubs across J&K. The centres include the Ju-Jitsu club Bandipora, which has been running for the last 15 years.
More than 250 youngsters have enrolled with the instructor and are getting training in martial art. Muzzafar Ahmad Dar has taught more than 4000 youngsters in the valley across Jammu and Kashmir. One of his students includes Sabqat Malik. Malik is representing India in Ju-Jitsu International Federation’s World Championship scheduled in Mongolia.
The teacher has claimed that he wants more and more children and youngsters of the state into the martial art. He is committed to the cause. Accordingly, even though he is economically not very strong, he provides free-of-cost coaching to the young and zealous youth from different areas of Bandipora to bring their hidden talent to the forefront.
Muzzafar Ahmad Dar is a true example of a true teacher. Accordingly, he is committed to the development of his pupil. He stated that even though he could not fulfil his dreams due to hurdles, he wanted the children to do the same on his behalf. He asserted that he does not wish for poverty to become a hurdle in the life of his students.
