Nigerian Youtuber Tayo Aina has shared the story of another inspiring personality from Nigeria on his Youtube account. The self-proclaimed storyteller loves to bring out unheard stories from various corners of Africa. This particular time, the subject of Aina’s newest youtube Video was an Ibadan Based Radio Presenter, Aderonke Adishola Balikis.
Tayo Aina interviewed the girl for his youtube channel. He said the 24-year-old radio presenter changed her life by making a name for herself
in the Nigerian media industry. She’s one of the first people in Nigeria to present sports in the native Yoruba language. However, he added that the fame didn’t come to her overnight.
Aina revealed that by pursuing a career as a presenter, the young woman had to face a lot of backlash from her parents and family. It went to the point that she almost wanted to quit.
Tayo Aina interviewed her across her home state, Ibadan. Here, they talked about several of her life’s milestones. Aina believes that his conversation with Aderonke changed his view of going for the things one is passionate about.

Aderonke revealed that she loved her city and was a proud Ibadan girl. Tayo and Aderonke went to the sports presenter’s school, where they talked about her story. Their conversation made it clear that Aderonke was always passionate about sports. Aderonke revealed, in the discussion, that if she were not a sports presenter, she would have been an athlete.
