The girl, whose identity has not yet been ascertained, was found that she was in her early twenties.

It was found that on early Saturday, July 30, residents of the area, which is near the University of Ibadan, woke up and saw a headless body with missing private parts were lying on the side of Oriya UI Road.

According to the sources, it is suspected that the young lady may have been killed at midnight and was later dumped in the area.

They further added that the incident had generated fear as well as panic among the people as there was no explanation for what happened with the girl during last night.

They said that no one could tell what happened exactly, but it can be suspected that she fell victim to ritualists.

One of the sources stated that some people who think they know her said that they saw her last night.

According to the source, however, no one could identify the victim as her head had been chopped off by the criminals who carried out the brutal incident.

Several attempts to reach the Oyo State Police Command PRO, Wale Osifeso, have proved abortive as of the time of filing the complaint.

The wrongdoers are also at large after carrying out this brutal killing of a young girl and will soon be found by the officials.

Several regions of Nigeria have reported a number of cases recently related to killings by ritualists as a majority of people in the country follow superstitions blindly, due to which they carry out several brutal crimes which are considered a shame in the name of humanity.
