Melissa Skerrit invited at Dominica Lottery’s entertainment point & Restaurant

Melissa Poppone Skerrit, Minister of Housing and Parliamentary Representative for the Roseau Central Constituency, was invited to the opening of the new Dominica National Lottery's entertainment Blast location and City View Restaurant.

Roseau, Dominica: Melissa Poppone Skerrit, Minister of Housing and Parliamentary Representative for the Roseau Central Constituency, was invited to the opening of the new Dominica National Lottery’s entertainment Blast location and City View Restaurant.

Through her social media account, the housing Minister shared various images and glimpses of the entertainment facility and restaurant services and the services available in the restaurant.

The Dominica National Lottery (DNL) BLAST Gaming Centre and Rooftop Restaurant & Bar now offer services to the general public. It was opened on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 4:00 PM.

Named in homage to the City Breeze Apartment project, this facility’s motto is good vibes and good views. It is located on the corner of Independence Street and Hillsborough Street in Roseau and is anticipated to provide an outstanding entertainment experience to its visitors.

The Housing Minister Melissa Skerrit highlighted that this facility will provide the Dominicans and other BLAST agents with games they enjoy the most.

She expressed her gratitude towards the Dominican National Association for their continued commitment and contributions to Dominica’s sports and culture and praised their efforts in expansion.

The Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Melissa Skerrit, emphasizes that she recognizes the potential for increased commercial activity in both Roseau and Portsmouth.

As a businesswoman herself, she welcomes enterprises such as this creative venture with the Dominica National Lottery. She believes that this venture can bring life to Roseau and create more job opportunities for young people from around Dominica.

Melissa Poponne-Skerrit also congratulated the DNL for its recent move to a new office building and welcomed the opportunity for the staff and board members to enjoy modern, well-equipped offices.

She mentioned that Lottery players will now have the chance to witness the draws live in the draw studio located on the ground floor.
