The Minister of Housing and Urban Development in the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica and the parliamentary representative of the Roseau Central constituency, Melissa Skerrit has announced an event she is hosting to celebrate the fathers of the communities under her charge. The politician is making all the efforts to make the 2023 Father’s Day celebration special.
She is hosting the BBQ and Chill event for the fathers of her community. The politician said she is collaborating with the LWO of Roseau Central to arrange this event. Further, the politician extended an invitation to all the members of the constituency to attend the event. Minister Skerrit wants to celebrate the fathers of the constituency on the eve of the celebration.
Accordingly, the BBQ and Chill event is on Saturday, June 17, 2023. The City Breeze Apartments will serve as the venue for the significant event. The event will feature several activities and games, including dominos and more. The team of Parliamentary representative are preparing to host the most enjoyable evening for the community’s fathers.
Minister Melissa Skerrit shared that The BBQ and chill will consist of several varieties of soups and broths. The community’s people will get to enjoy entertainment and music as a part of the event. Minister Skerrit regularly hosts events in order to celebrate occassions with her constituency. Recently, she hosted a Mother’s Day celebration for the women of his constituency.
The people of her constituency appreciate her for sharing several of her celebrations with them. The people of the community applaud her initiative to celebrate the fathers and people of her community in general.
Father’s Day is a special celebration for all the country and the people. Accordingly, Dominica’s government’s other parliamentary representatives have also organized their own celebrations.
The parliamentary representative of Roseau Valley, Minister Irwing McIntyre, also announced the celebratory event he is hosting for his constituency. His celebration will also take place on the eve of Father’s Day and feature several varieties of games and entertainment. T
