Saint Lucia: Ernest Hilaire attends Luncheon with Tourism Ministry Stakeholders

Ernest Hilaire, recently took to his social media account to share some updates on his excursion to the Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association (SLHTA) Chef’s Table Luncheon.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Ernest Hilaire, recently took to his social media account to share some updates on his excursion to the Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association (SLHTA) Chef’s Table Luncheon. The government hosted the meeting at the Sandals Grande Ballroom. The meeting took place on Monday, April 3, 2023. During the meeting, The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism discussed the critical aspects of the industry.

The stakeholders of Saint Lucia’s tourism industry were present at the meeting in Sandals Grande Ballroom. The Minister of Tourism and investment et al. took the opportunity to address the people regarding the various accomplishments of the tourism industry. Further, the minister discussed the vision for where the sector is heading.

The Minister of Tourism in the government of Saint Lucia, Ernest Hilaire, shared several images to glimpse the meeting proceedings. The country’s tourism ministry team is working tremendously to place this sector of the economy on a high threshold of quality and commitment in the region.

Along with the Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, several other representatives and stakeholders of the Tourism Sector were also present at the Luncheon. These include large and boutique hotel representatives, along with staff from the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) and Saint Lucia Air and Seaports Authority (SLASPA).

Further, as per the update the Minister of Tourism shared, these agencies, as mentioned earlier, also made presentations as it pertained to airlift into Saint Lucia, destination marketing and the investment and business climate. The country is making significant advancements in the tourism industry for the benefit of the people of the country and the benefits that the sector can bring to the economy of he caribbean region.

Meanwhile, Minister Hilaire shared that the tourism sector of Saint Lucia is growing, and we will continue to ensure that it becomes a positive sum equation for the benefit of all Saint Lucians.
