The Deputy Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Geoffrey Hanley, recently visited a local housing Development site in Paragon Heights, Bird Rock. Dr Hanley took to his social media account to share an update regarding his visit. Additionally, he shared some images to go with the post. The trip insights shared by Deputy Prime Minister Hanley featured the housing units.
Deputy Prime Minister Hanley is responsible for housing and urban settlements ministry. Consequently, the visit to inspect the housing project falls directly under his work portfolio. Another important reason for the visit is the fact that the housing development project is taking place in his parliamentary Constituency.
According to the update on his social media account, this development project is called The Clift. Here, it is worth noting that the project is entirely engineered and funded by local builders and investors. In addition to providing housing to the people of St Kitts and Nevis, the Cliff project provides employment opportunities to the locals.
Meanwhile, since this project is engineered and funded by the people of St Kitts and Nevis, it is also one of the indigenous projects for St Kitts and Nevis. In line with this, the Minister of housing and urban development expressed his views through a social media post.
He wrote that he could not be more proud to see the execution of such an important development project in my Constituency, East Basseterre. According to Dr Geoffrey Hanley, this project demonstrates our people’s capabilities and our potential in the construction industry.
Meanwhile, Dr Hanley said he is extremely pleased with what he is seeing in the project. He added that he welcomes more of this in the Constituency and our nation. Accordingly, the project also informs the people that This project is expected to be completed swiftly.
