St Kitts and Nevis: Min of Gender affairs announces beauty entrepreneurship training

Ministry of Social Development & Gender Affairs has extended an invitation for unemployed women and women entrepreneurs to register for its second Beauty Entrepreneurship training.

Ministry of Social Development & Gender Affairs has extended an invitation for unemployed women and women entrepreneurs to register for its second Beauty Entrepreneurship training. The event is being held in collaboration with The Embassy Of The Republic of China (Taiwan). The training is a part of the Women’s, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Financial Inclusion Project.

The Beauty Entrepreneurship training aims to assist beauty entrepreneurs in acquiring theory knowledge on business operations in the beauty sector. The training will further help to enhance their growth towards maintaining a successful business, creating a business plan and building the Beauty Sector.

The Ministry of Social Development & Gender Affairs organises the Training exercise for the benefit of the Self Employed & Unemployed Women ONLY in St Kitts & Nevis. The ministry has announced that they will give all the trainees who complete the exercise a Grant Prize of USD 3000.

The duration of the course is from February 6 to February 18. In the course of the sessions, the women entrepreneurs will receive much valuable advice from experts in the beauty industry. The industry experts will take the classes of the trainees from Monday to Friday. The classes will be held at the ICT Center on Bay Road.

All the registered trainees will receive a weekly stipend of XCD 100. The Ministry of Social Development and gender affairs stated that Interested persons could apply by scanning the barcode on the digital flyer. The digital flyer will forward to the online application form. The Ministry of Social Development & Gender Affairs revealed that there are no paper-based applications for this session. Applications are accepted until January 27, 2023.

The Ministry of Social Development comes under the jurisdiction of the Deputy Prime Minister, Dr Geoffrey Hanley. The ABLP administration is committed to uplifting and empowering the women of the federation. Meanwhile, they are also committed to ensuring gender equality in all spheres of governance.
