The executive governor of the Borno state, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum has extended his most heartfelt best wishes to the newly appointed vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The Vice President, Kashim Shettima, is celebrating the 57th anniversary of his birth on September 2, 2023.
Along with many political leaders, admirers and well-wishers of the national leader, Shettima, the executive governor and politician of the Borno state, has taken the initiative to extend birthday wishes to the admirable politician.
In his birthday celebration post, Prof Babagana Umara Zulum noted that he once read a quotation attributed to Steven Spielberg: “The delicate balance of mentoring someone is not creating them in your image, but allowing them to create themselves.”
He further added that Now, in his unique style of mentorship, His Excellency Vice President Kashim Shettima liberally gave us (his mentees) the rare opportunity of using what we have learnt from him to independently create our own identities of leadership for the benefit of our people in Borno State and beyond.
Today and always, we celebrate a great and humble mentor whose type is difficult to find.
May Allah, in His infinite Grace, grant the Vice President many more years with the best of health and strength, the best of faith and wisdom, the best of inner peace and prosperity in this world and in the hereafter. Aamin.
