Therefore, we deemed it very necessary to pay you this visit to educate us on how best we can pilot the affairs of this Ministry. Overall, we need your assistance so that this Ministry will continue progressing towards and achieving its mandates.

Finally, I assure you of our maximum cooperation regarding intelligence sharing and public awareness. Thank you, Commissioner of Police.

The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Mohammed Usaini Gumel, acknowledged the remarks of the Commissioner. He also responded to the welcome words of the Commissioner for Religious Affairs, stating that “Today is one of the days that will be in my record as people who want to come and partner strongly with the Police are coming around, seeking our ideas so that they can cross-fertilize it and see how best they can help humanity.

However, he added that this Ministry is considered the extension of this office. This is because the job is the same as the Ministry’s work is to stabilize the peace in the State. I’m happy that a whole Commissioner is here, including his Staff.

Overall, he believes religion is very fragile. On this note, the cleric should be mindful of the consequences of what they say and develop the spirit of Citizenship, Nationality, and Love of their State.

Furthermore, the Police are part of the Government. We primarily must support the Government in implementing its policies and, by extension, the guidelines of this Ministry. I assure you that the Police in Kano will give you Maximum Cooperation, and I’m also giving you this testimony that you will enjoy our working relationship.
