Kano State Police to host friendly football matches, Read Schedule

The police force of Kano state has collaborated with the Youth Society for the Prevention of Infectious Disease and Social Vices (YOSPIS) to host a series of peace football matches in the state. The August edition of the significant event would take place over the whole month. The matches would be a good way of ensuring that the state’s people can easily indulge in sports and other such activities.

The first match of the series will take place on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. Accordingly, the first match of the series schedule states that the match will play out between the remarkable teams of the kano state command of the Nigeria Police Force and Kano Youths Yearning for Return of Sustainable Peace (KYYRSP

The Kano Police Force shared the complete schedule for the matches, which would take place in the following order:

Wednesday, August 9, 2023: Kannywood vs Police Force of Kano State

Tuesday, August 15, 2023: Kano State Police Command VS Ticktokers

Wednesday, August 23, 2023: NUJ VS Kano State Police Command

Wednesday, August 30, 2023: Kano State Police Command VS YOSPIS

The Sani Abacha Stadium Kofar Mata, Kano, will be the venue for the friendly matches. The matches will start at 2:00 PM. Meanwhile, the Police Comand took to their social media account to invite the people of the country to attend and witness the matches at the venue.

The state command and the Kano state government are also working dikigently to promote and uplift the country’s people. Furthermore, they try to engage in the sports initiatives that the state government introduces for the various communities.

Meanwhile, the officers of the state command have invited the people of the state to attend the match on August 2, 2023. The invitation read: Our Community Policing Football Game will commence tomorrow, 2nd August 2023 at Sani Abacha Stadium Kofar Mata, Kano. Also, the note said, You are all invited, please.
