Edo State Development and Property Corporation (ESDPC) has signed a joint venture agreement with Median Infrastructure Development Limited on behalf of the State. The government has taken this venture in furtherance to Godwin Obaseki’s commitment to providing adequate housing infrastructure in the State.
The collaboration came into effect on August 17, 2023. The authorities collaborated to develop 46 Luxury Apartments in the Government Reservation Area, Benin City.
The Luxury Apartments, situated on a Land Area of 7755 sqm, will have three Blocks on six floors, each with a Lift. This stunning development has unmatched spacious apartments with all amenities provided. It is located along Reservation Road, directly opposite the Golf Course and will complete within the next 12 months.
Speaking during the Agreement signing ceremony, the Managing Director of ESDPC, John Zedomi, said that the good people of Edo State are very expectant of the realisation of this magnificent project. He also noted that apart from the Golf Mews, which is complete, this luxury apartment is the second project of its kind that ESDPC is handling on behalf of Edo State Government.
Zedomi emphasised that there is an existing high standard, “but having worked with Median Infrastructure Development Limited in the past few weeks on the designs and layouts, I do not doubt that this particular project will certainly be an upgrade to what was done in the Golf Mews.”
While welcoming the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Median Infrastructure Limited, Olumide Akinsanya and his Management Technical team, Mr Zedomi, expressed hope of exciting times soon.
Further, the Chief Executive Officer of Median Infrastructure, Olumide Akinsanya, said Median would want people to have their apartments according to their taste. While assuring quality delivery in the shortest possible time, he noted that Median Technical Team would allow the clients to have bespoke finishing within the confines of their apartments.
Akinsana said: “We have a sterling record in our previous projects, and ESDPC have done their due diligence. We will deliver an extremely spacious development that will please the dwellers and buyers of the apartments.”
He said, “The other thing we want you to know is that we will hit the ground running immediately, and we intend to finish in less than 12 months, barring all unforeseen circumstances. If COVID-19 comes up again tomorrow, you won’t hold Median responsible, and we have seen that happen. We do not pray that it will happen again, but we want to deliver to time,” Engr. Akinsanya emphasised.
