Additionally, it is worth mentioning that these issues have increased since April 2022. In April 2022, the political party lost the confidence of the people of Pakistan. Following this, the authorities introduced a no-confidence motion against the political party’s leadership.

Meanwhile, the daughter of Ali Haider Zaidi has defended her father after his arrest. She believes that the police authorities are detaining her father for defending the sovereignty and respect of Pakistan. She asserted that her father had served the country with integrity and honesty.

The politician’s daughter, Sacha Ali Zaidi, has argued how a nation can prosper if the authorities arrest the individuals who are standing for the nation’s benefit. The high-level politicians of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) have also taken a stand in favour of the politician.

The senior vice president of PTI, Shireen Mazari, has taken the opportunity to term the detention of Zaidi as condemnable and illegal. Further, the politician in question is the president of the Sindh Chapter of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI). The politician also served as the Minister of Maritime Affairs in the government of Pakistan.
