Bayelsa Govt Organizes Essay Writing Competition for College

The 11th edition of the Online Essay Contest for Bayelsa Undergraduates is scheduled for Friday, March 31, 2023. The Office of the Director of the New Media office of the Governor of Bayelsa State powers the event.

The 11th edition of the Online Essay writing Contest for Bayelsa Undergraduates is scheduled for Friday, March 31, 2023. The Office of the Director of the New Media office of the Governor of Bayelsa State powers the event. The new media office shared the event update on their social media.

The topic for this March 2023 edition of the competition is “ACHIEVING PEACEFUL ELECTION IN NIGERIA: THE BAYELSA 2023 EXAMPLE.”

The “One-Day Task” begins this midnight. The competition will run for 24 hours. The essay writing contest is open to all young undergraduates of Bayelsa State. The contenders can be students of any tertiary institution within the country. To Clarify the stance, all students studying outside the country can not compete in this contest.

Meanwhile, participants must submit an insightful writeup with a word limit of 350–400 words for the essay. To become eligible for the essay writing contest, the writeup of the students should be forwarded to the email address below:

Your essay must contain the followig information about the participant:

Name
School
Level
Course of Study
Community (Village)
Local Government Area.

Further, the New Media office of the government of Bayelsa advised all the participants to go to their Facebook page. Per the guidelines, the participants must drop a notification of submission at the Bayelsa Government New Media. They must post the introductory part of their essay along with Your Name, School, Level, Course of Study, Community (Village) and Local Government Area.

The Bayelsa Government has extended their best wishes to all the participants for this contest for academic excellence and financial rewards for prosperity.

The prizes for the event are as follows:
1. Champion – N200,000.00
2. 2nd Placed – N100,000.00
3. 3rd Placed – N50,000.00
Then, consolation prizes for the 4th and 5th Placed.
