Sisi Yemmie: Nigeria-based Youtuber and food Vlogger recently shared a new video on her Youtube channel. The YouTuber shared another edition of the Sisi Weekly. She detailed some experiences she and her family are facing, living in Lagos in light of the Lagos elections.

Sisi asserted they are facing a financial crunch due to the recent Naira redesign. Accordingly, they have to buy Naira cash by paying an extra amount to the people for every twenty thousand Naira. They have to pay an additional amount of five thousand. Additionally, due to the upcoming elections in the state, several people have taken to mass-buying utilities.

In line with this, the family of the food vlogger had to arrange cash to get a stock of groceries and utilities of the people. Elaborating further on the situation in Nigeria, Sisi noted that they had to scale down on celebrating their daughter Tiara’s birthday. Sisi Yemmie said they did not even tell their daughter about her celebrations.

They celebrated Tiara’s birthday with a small cake. Since the birthday fell shortly after Tani’s first birthday, the celebration was small and intimate with only family in attendance. In line with this, a social media user shared her own similar experience in SiSi’s weekly Vlog comment section.

She wrote: When my sister and I were younger, birthdays were merged to save cost and planning stress. I am older, and I really didn’t mind at all..we love Tiara and all! Your children are special

The family reflected on the situation in Nigeria in light of the elections and the Naira redesign and the problems that they face in the country.

Meanwhile, Sisi then shot some of her cooking videos and clips for her youtube channel. Afterwards, she unboxed her younger daughter Tani’s birthday gift with her. The mother of three showed all several gifts of her daughter and thanked the senders for their gifts.
