Executive editor of the Bespoke pan-African online newspaper, UK, REPORT AFRIQUE International Comrade Phils has taken to their Facebook account to express his opinion about the All Progressive Congress Presidential candidate, Bola Ahmad Tinubu.
The executive editor is a vocal supporter of the Labour Party Candidate, Peter Obi. He is a very active participant in the campaign for the upcoming presidential elections in Nigeria.
In his Facebook post, he expressed that while he is a supporter of the Labour Party Candidate, Peter Obi, he does not have any issues with the other candidates in the presidential race.
He write in his Facebook post: Let me be clear
I support Peter Obi because I believe he is the best. However, I am not concerned with all the other major candidates except Tinubu.
At the same time, he explained that he also does not hate Tinubu. Philip Thomas revealed that he has a problem with Tinubu’s mental state, not even his age.
He conceded that a healthier Tinubu would have been a more desirable candidate. But looking at his frail state now, Phils considers him a victim of his ambitions and desperation.
Comrade Phils(Philip Thomas) believes, “This man needs medical attention more than any other thing now, and anyone pushing him to be president of Nigeria is unfair to the old man and to all Nigerians.”
In the Facebook post written by the Executive editor of REPORT AFRIQUE International, he says: Despite the inconsistencies in his lifestyle, we cannot, in all fairness, deny that he is a political force in the South West and Nigeria.
At the same time, he questions: How would you feel asking a dying Pele to be fielded in the Brazilian national team in the ongoing world cup in Qatar? Will the fact that he holds some unchallenged records in the football history be enough to justify him being forced from his hospital bed to the pitch now, even if he so wants to be there?
He urged his audience and his readers, When you make decisions today, ask yourselves if you have made the best of choices for a better tomorrow. Please, for the sake our young kids, have a rethink.
