Roseau, Dominica: Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit, the Prime Minister of Dominica extended the greetings to the fathers of all over the country on the occasion of Father’s Day. He recognized the contributions and sacrifices that they make for their children.
“We honour your contributions and the sacrifices you make to ensure the well-being of your families and thank you for the love, support, wisdom and guidance provided to your children,” shahid the Prime Minister through his social media handle.
The Prime Minister wished all the fathers of the country to have a day filled with love, joy and happiness. On the occasion of this auspicious day, fathers around the world are being recognized for the role they place on their children.
Considerably, Melissa Skerrit, the housing minister, wished all the fathers extended appreciation and gratefulness. She extended special thanks to the Prime Minister, Roosevelt Skerrit for the special role he has done to her and the children.
“May you truly understand and be uplifted by the depth of our love and adoration of the hardest days, and may the lord hold you close and bless you always! You are everything and more to us,” added the Minister Melissa Skerrit.
While extending thanks, she added, “ Thank you for the abundant blessings that are our children. But even more so thank you for being the caring, loving, and attentive father that you are.
Considerably, the country celebrated Father’s day in Roseau which included all the fun filled activities and adventure. There were all the competitions, games, bouncy castles for the kids, music.
All the activities that took place in the country as a part of Father’s Day celebrations brought all the fathers together. And, provided children with an opportunity to recognize and appreciate their fathers.
As well, several of the ministers wished father’s day where Dr Irving McIntyre, the Finance Minister, mentioned that the role of fathers is integral, and is essential for the children and their bright future. Also, he recognized the valuable support and love that father’s shower on their children.
