Takun: The NYCN Takum Chapter visited the immigration office

Two most important concerns were raised during the visit

The National Youth Council of Nigeria Takum chapter pays a familiarization visit to the immigration and border command office, Takum L.G.Area.

The immigration command expressed their satisfaction with the timely visit and welcomed the youth council with gratitude.


The concerns and awareness which were raised during this visit were that the indigenous people of Takum L.G.A. should avoid shielding and hiding foreigners. These activities frustrate their workers, the command emphasized.

Along with this, one more concern was raised, which was that all Nigerians resident in Takum L.G.A. should get their NATIONAL IDENTITY CARD as soon as possible, as the command intends to carry out a serious search of identification in all routes of Takum L.G.A.

The command has already started taking action. The command has sent the Nimc Mobile app to the public, which shall serve as evidence in place of the National Identity Card. The Nimc Mobile app can be found in the Google Play Store.

The association encourages the public for onward download and install the Nimc Mobile app on our cellphones for easy presentation to officers. The step is taken to maintain and ease up the efforts to ensure that all Nigerians resident in Takum LGA should get their NATIONAL IDENTITY CARD as soon as possible.

At last, the command appreciates and thanks the leadership and members of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, National Youth Council of Nigeria Takum Chapter, for making the right decision to see things for themselves in the command headquarters, stating their readiness to work together with the National Youth Council of Nigeria Takum Chapter, to install a sane society.
