Adnan Mukhtar Tudunwala shares recommendations for Kano governor

A journalist at PR Nigeria, Adnan Mukhtar Tudunwala, has shared his opinion regarding the governor of Kano State. The journalist is a resident of the state. He also works as a professor in the Federal University of Dutsin-Ma. He shared some changes that he feels are required in the government to incorporate modernity.

According to the Journalist and Professor, Kano State’s governor should develop innovations that will move Kano forward. Further, he noted that it should start with renaming Ministries to fit with 21st Century standards. In line with this recommendation, Tundunwala urged governor to put young people at the forefront of leading them.

He remarked that Governor El-Rufai’s model is exemplary and worthy of emulation by other governors. Nasir El-Rufai is the governor of the Kaduna State. He has been working well for the development of his state.
Further, Adnan Mukhtar Tudunwala recommended that the government should rename the Ministry Commerce.

The ministry’s new name should be Trade, Investment and Innovation etc.

The government should further work on harmonizing Kantin Kwari Market Board, Sabon Gari, Wambai and other markets. They should be a part of the Kano State Market Agency. Additionally, they should appoint a Director for heading each particular market.

The journalist further claimed that the state needs additional ministries like that of Security and Home Affairs in Kano. He remarked that the government can address phone snatching and other immoral vices bedevilling in the state effectively with active collaboration with security agencies.

He believes that the government of Kano can achieve this only by putting young people with capacity at the forefront. Defending his recommendation, Adnan Mukhtar Tudunwala applauded the youth. he claimed that They have the ideas, and they are bold and vibrant to bring innovative solutions to our problems.

He also addressed the currently appointed staff of the various ministries. He stated that All these older men working in the various positions need some rest. They should be retired to their home
