The chief of the Khalistani Commando force died in “the heart of Lahore” Army Chief Raja suspects that the Indian intelligence agency, raw executed the encounter with the Khalistani leader. Meanwhile, the Sunday Guardian has started an independent inquiry into the issue. The research has revealed that the death of the Khalistani Commando Force chief may have Pakistan links.

According to the sources, Pakistan entrusted Panjwar with the responsibility of reviving Khalistani sentiments in India. However, Panjwar failed in the duty that he was charged with. Accordingly, he became expendable and lost his use. This, according to the Sunday Guardian, may have prompted his death.

Some sources have stated that the funding that the deceased Khalistani chief was receiving came from people connected to the intelligence agency of China, MSS. According to the reports, Panjwar was a critical part of the K2 project. The project was jointly handled by the ISI and MSS. It aimed to spread unrest in Kashmir and revive Khalistan in the minds of the people of Pakistan.

The army chief has also raised questions on the timing of the attack. The death of the Khalistani operative and chief comes during the India visit of the Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto. Bhutto is the son of the former prime Minister of Pakistan, Benazir Bhutto. He claimed that his mother informed India about the locations of all the Khalistan operatives.
