Nigeria held their most anticipated elections to select a new head of state on February 25, 2023. The polls were one of the most significant in modern history. Renowned Nigerian Youtuber Tayo Aina has taken to his social media to share his opinion regarding the elections. In his video, the YouTuber discussed urged the people to vote.

Here, Aina did not talk about his personal preferences for voting. However, he took the opportunity to educate the other members of the Nigerian community to make the right decision while casting their votes. Ahead of the Aina urged the people living in Nigeria or the diaspora to come cast their ballots.

He insisted that when he visits other countries, he observes how those countries use their resources to make their country great. He added that this is why people from Nigeria and Africa travel to those countries. With this observation, Tayo Aina questioned that even though Africa and Nigeria have access to all the resources, they are not used how the government should use them.

He clarified his personal experience. Reportedly, the Nigerian Youtuber visited a very remote part of Lagos. The said area does not have access to electricity. During his trip, he interacted with one of the area’s residents and understood the dire conditions through her. Accordingly, Aina asserted that the people must vote for a leader who can work for their betterment.

According to Aina, Nigeria needs leaders who will work on tackling the country’s issues. The primary issues of concern in this regard are the issues of insecurity, dealing with issues related to the country’s economy, healthcare and such. The country needs a leader who can lead the country towards better life by creating jobs and industries. The new president must work to ensure that the people can get access to power and electricity. He believes that if Nigeria can access all the resources in the right way, the country can grow tremendously.
