I travelled to a country with more bicycles than people. Everyone in the Netherlands ride bikes almost everywhere & I found it fascinating because I haven’t seen this done anywhere before. With this model, fuel scarcity will be a thing of the past, and Vulcanizer will make plenty of money.

Tayo Aina travelled to Amsterdam as a part of his travels, where he discovered that the nation has more bicycles than the number of people living there. As per Aina,

    • Number of Bikes in the Netherlands: 22 Million
    • Number of People in the Netherlands: 18 Million

Tayo Aina also shared some trivia related to the history of the Netherlands. According to a Wikipedia article (snippets) which featured in Aina’s social media video. In the year 1973, there was an oil crisis in the nation. To combat the situation, the people of the Netherlands started to use bikes to travel to work, school, or even shopping.

This solution to the oil crisis is also effective in saving money on fuel and protecting the environment. The Youtuber’s trip to the Netherlands impressed him with the government’s management. Bike lanes on either side of the road allow bikers to get around the town. The main roads are reserved for vehicles.

In his update, Tayo Aina questioned his audience whether or not they would want similar arrangements in their own countries. He asked Will you guys wish to have this implemented in your country, or would you like to ride a bike every day?
