Pakistan: Balochistan politician gets bail in triple murder, abduction

The Balochistan leader, who got arrested by the police authorities over the allegations of Murdering three people and abducting six people of the local tribe in Barkhan, has received bail.

The Balochistan leader, who got arrested by the police authorities over the allegations of Murdering three people and abducting six people of the local tribe in Barkhan, has received bail. The political leader had denied the charges the police were pushing on him when the authorities charged him. Baloch Minister Sardar Abdul Rahman Khetran had to pay surety bonds of Rs500,000 each case to get bail.

The Rakhni sessions court judge approved the bail application for Minister Sardar Abdul Rahman Khetran on Friday. The authorities of the Quetta jail granted the minister bail the following day, on Saturday, March 11. At the time of his bail, several members of the Khetran tribe were present outside the Central Jail to receive the minister.

Sources suggest that the minister spent more than half a month inside the prison before he received bail on March 11. The politician got arrested on February 25 after the police authorities discovered three bodies at the politician’s residence. Days before the incident, one of the victims appeared in a viral video on social media in February.

In the video, the woman accused the politician Sardar Abdul Rahman Khetran of abducting her and her children. She also urged the people of the community to help them and rescue them from the captivity of Khetran. Shortly after the video surfaced on the internet, a member of the local tribe, Khan Muhammad Marri, a resident of Kohlu, claimed that the deceased was his wife and children.

The autopsy results suggest the perpetrator brutally tortured, brutally raped and beat one of the women. The 17-18-year-old female was shit in her head thrice. Further, her perpetrator mutilated her face and neck. Reportedly, the culprit has done this to hide the girl’s identity. Meanwhile, Minister Sardar Abdul Rahman Khetran denied the allegation of abduction and murder. He claims that the allegations are an attempt to malign his reputation and political career
