PM Drew paints JNF General Hospital’s foyer, aims to enhance healthcare services

Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew volunteered to paint the foyer (entrance) of the JNF General Hospital to enhance the facility aesthetically.

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew volunteered to paint the foyer (entrance) of the JNF General Hospital to enhance the facility aesthetically. He expressed his commitment to provide quality medical services to the people in the Federation. 

The development was part of the Cable’s 40th Anniversary Community Project- JNF Hospital Lobby Renovation. PM Drew kept his word and made significant strides in delivering improved health services to the people.

He was accompanied by his wife- Diani Prince Drew, TDC Group of Companies, Berger Paints, Minister of Public Infrastructure- Konris G M Maynard and several staff members of the Joseph N France (JNF) General Hospital.

The Prime Minister’s wife took to her official social media handle (Facebook) to express her gratitude for being a part of the team and contribute in the improvement of the hospital. 

“I was happy to join my husband, Hon. Dr Terrance Drew, yesterday in volunteering at the Joseph N France General Hospital, where major work is underway to enhance the hospital. I look forward to volunteering again soon.

I’m also now a top class painter, thanks to all of the tips from the hardworking members of the team”, added Diani Prince Drew. 

The leader of St Kitts and Nevis, who is also serving as a Minister for Health, has always remained consistent and active in providing advanced medical services to its people and boosting the country’s healthcare sector. 

He expressed his commitment to continuously upgrading the JNF facility with every possible medical equipment for the well-being of the citizens.

Recently, he thanked the technicians from Puerto Rico for upgrading anaesthesiology equipment at the hospital and hailed their presence as a step towards recognition. 

The JNF hospital welcomed new doctors and specialists in their family, such as Neurologist, Endocrinologist, 4 Internists, 4 Gynaecologists, 7 Radiographers, 3 Surgeons and 2 Paediatricians. 

People across the nation lauded PM Drew’s efforts by commenting on his post on Facebook. 

“Keep up the good work Hon PM Dr Drew you and your young labour government are doing some positive things in this country that some people will like us to forget about”, quoted one. 

“Wonderful PM and others. Painting isn’t an easy job. May God continue to grant strength and energy to all who are involved. Very proud of my government. I thank God so much that Labour has returned to power. Blessings on all”, commented another FB user.
