The Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Health in the government of Kenya, Nakhumicha S. Wafula, has lauded Kenyan nurses’ dedication and unwavering commitment. She has openly acknowledged their status as unsung heroes within the healthcare sector. 

The Ministry of Health in the countrytook the opportunity to applauding the members of the Nursing community. The Cabinet Secretary, Nakhumicha S. Wafula, attended the Kenyan Nurses’ 2nd Anniversary Flag Off of the International Healthcare Mission.

Speaking at the Kenyan Nurses’ 2nd Anniversary Flag Off of International Healthcare Mission, the Cabinet Secretary expressed deep gratitude for the substantial contributions made by these nurses to both Kenya and the United Kingdom.

The Ministry of Health took the opportunity to share some glimpses from the 2nd Anniversary Flag Off of the International Healthcare Mission. The ministry featured the team of nurses, ministry of health officials and the Cabinet Secretary, while she delivered her remarks.

Meanwhile, the Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Health, the government of Kenya, extended her best wishes for their endeavours abroad. 

She made the following claim while delivering her remarks at the event, “These nurses epitomize the true spirit of our healthcare sector,” she stated. “Their steadfast commitment and tireless devotion often go unnoticed, yet their impact is immeasurable.”

The team of healthcare officials and nurses was selected under the Government-to-Government Bilateral Labor Agreement between Kenya and the United Kingdom, The Cabinet Secretary claimed that these nurses embody the positive outcomes of international collaboration. Beyond skill exchange, the agreement fosters cross-cultural understanding and strengthens ties between the two nations.
