A resident of Gboko Town in Benue State recently gave birth to her triplets at home. The woman’s situation has prompted a public figure of charitable intent, Andrew Obeya Adaudu, to come on social media to call for help for the struggling womman. As per the sources, the woman could not access medical resources as she could not afford to pay the medical bills for her pregnancy, subsequent treatments and delivery. After undergoing pre-term labour, the woman lost one of her three children immediately after delivery.

Andrew Obeya Adaudu identified the woman as Mrs Suuver, a resident of Gboko in her social media post. According to the hospital records, she gave birth to her triplets on March 2, 2023. The new mother was reportedly going through economic hardship and did not have access to spousal support. Accordingly, she could not have the delivery of her triplets at a hospital.

The mother and her babies are currently admitted to the Benue State University Teaching hospital theatre ward 7. The mother of two needs supplies for her newborns. The mother is also facing a severe food shortage for herself. Accordingly, she is facing difficulty in breastfeeding her children.

Andrew Obeya Adaudu noted that the mother of three has absolutely nothing for her babies. She needs clothing and food since she has been finding it hard to breastfeed the baby. Adaudu noted that the wrappers in this picture are all she has to cover for her babies.
