Comrade Phils supports PVN initiative of Obidient Awards

Philip Thomas, better known to the internet population as Comrade Phils, has announced the Obidient Awards. The award aims to recognize the people within who are instrumental to the campaign supporting the Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi. 

Executive editor of the Bespoke pan-African online newspaper operating from Coventry, UK, REPORT AFRIQUE International, Philip Thomas, has shared the post announcing the awards. The post was captioned: 

We are set to recognize those who have openly contributed to the demand for a better Nigeria.

According to Comrade Phils, “Obidients are not necessarily people who are members of the Labour Party but those who have demanded a new and better Nigeria irrespective of affiliations.”

The Peter Obi Volunteer Network is hosting the Obidient awards under the theme: “Recognizing Nigerians who are contributing selflessly to the movement towards A New Nigeria.”

So far, organizers have yet to give out the date on which the awards are scheduled to be held. The organizing party, the Peter Obi Volunteer Network (PVN), also announced the event on their Facebook account. The post shared by the volunteer network read:

We are all Obi-dient

But, some amongst us have been more instrumental to the call.

Join us as we recognize some of us who have distinguished ourselves in this cause.

The event scheduled shortly has already started inviting entries. Comrade Phils also shared glimpses of the pre-event on his social media account. Further, he also shared that The PVN will shortly open the entries for the award for the general public. 

He wrote on his Facebook account:

Obidients are doing great things in the cause of taking back their country.

Entries will be open to the public soon.

Gather videos and pictures of your activities for the obidient movement and get ready to be recognized and celebrated.

The main event of the Obidient Awards will feature several highlights, one of them being the main event, the Obidient Award & Gala Night.

The Unveiling Of the National Secretariat will follow the main awards night event.

Further, the event will also feature the Presentation and launching Of the Veritable Leadership Book Titled “Greener Politics.”

The awards will prove to be instrumental in raising the morale of the Peter Obi supporters, the Obidients. These awards will recognize the efforts and contributions of the supporters of Peter Obi
