St Kitts and Nevis: PM Terrance Drew travels to Anguilla for ANSAR opening

The prime minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, travelled to Anguilla to attend the Anguilla Nevis St. Kitts Associations Reunion (ANSAR) Opening Ceremony. He took to his social media account to share the experience

The prime minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, travelled to Anguilla to attend the Anguilla Nevis St. Kitts Associations Reunion (ANSAR) Opening Ceremony. He took to his social media account to share the experience of visiting the island. He expressed his delight and appreciation to the people of Anguilla for giving him a warm welcome.

The Prime Minister attended the Anguilla Nevis St. Kitts Associations Reunion (ANSAR) Opening Ceremony on Saturday, July 15, 2023. Ahead of his departure, he shared the complete schedule for the proceedings of the opening ceremony. The Prime Minister also shared some glimpses of the welcome ceremony, which he recieved in Anguilla.

The prime minister shared on his social media, I received a very warm welcome from my fellow nationals in Anguilla both upon arrival at the airport and at the Anguilla Nevis St. Kitts Associations Reunion (ANSAR) Opening Ceremony. Further, the head of the government in St Kitts and Nevis asserted that It was a pleasure sharing our Federation’s vision towards a Sustainable Island State.

The authorities also took the time to discuss the strong cultural and historical ties between the three island nations. The Prime Minister was happy to engage in the fruitful discussion regarding better relations with the island’s people. During his trip, Prime Minister Dr Terrance drew also sat for an interview with the Anguillan Journalist.

The Prime Minister accompanied the Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley to the interview.  Dr Terrance Drew shared an update on the interview. Following the Opening Ceremony of ANSAR in Anguilla he was interviewed by Keith “Stone” Greaves. He is a Caribbean Journalist and Broadcaster at Radio Anguilla. The interview centred around advancing the Federation and promoting stronger relations with Anguilla.

The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis and the premier of Nevis got the opportunity to appear for a joint interview. Dr Drew shared an image from the interview on his social media account. He announced that the interview will air on Monday at 9:00 AM on the Government of Anguilla social media platforms.
