ABEOKUTA, NIGERIA – Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has pledged to turn a new leaf following his release on bail after pleading not guilty to multiple charges, including conspiracy, assault, and disorderly conduct.
The Ogun State Magistrate Court in Isabo, Abeokuta, granted the Zazu crooner bail on Thursday, setting the amount at N2 million.
His arraignment followed allegations of assaulting three officials of the Ogun Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA).
