I reaffirmed that the Police alone cannot claim the monopoly of security. In addition, it depicts that the successes achieved during the just-concluded election result from collaborative policing.

Furthermore, since I assumed duty, I noted that the Command has been battling emerging crimes, especially Mobile Phone Armed Robbery, in the commission of which weapons are used to inflict injuries on innocent persons and even death in some instances.

Consequently, the Command invited Magistrates and Shari’a Courts Judges and escalated by visiting the acting Chief Judge, High Court of Justice Kano State. We had a benchmarking discussion on how we can achieve the goal of making Kano the most peaceful State. Further, they thank God in the last month that they recorded only two cases of mobile phone robbery.

We need to continue to work together in sharing intelligence and operations. With the cooperation of other security agencies, we have been achieving success. Thank you for the visit and safe return back to your office.”

Your coming is an addition to the Nigeria Police Force in the State. We will continue to put heads together in both human and material to secure Kano State.
