Land of Hope shares pride on Rita for receiving Excellence Award

The NGO works diligently to protect the children who face abuse and neglect from the communities. Over a decade of their existence, the Land of Hope has given new life and hope to several children.

A significant example of their successful work comes in the story of Rita. The NGO rescued the young woman from her village. The founders of the NGO, David and Anja, found her in her town. As per the reports, the village people accused the young girl of being a witch. The community then beat her and kept her in chains so she could not escape.

After seven years of being a part of the NGO, her life has completely transformed. The young woman recently received an award of excellence from her school. The school gave her the Ambassador Award of Excellence for her distinguished and eminent performance in Mathematics. The development is a real matter of pride for the founder of the NGO, Anja Ringgren Loven.

She expressed her heartfelt happiness and excitement for the young woman’s achievement. Anja made this announcement shortly after sharing a similar post for another child of Land Hope. Saviour received the Ambassador’s Award for his outstanding performance in Science and Mathematics. Meanwhile, Anja stated that she is extremely proud of both these children.

The unwavering service of the Nigeria-based NGO Land of Hope towards these abused and neglected children has changed hundreds of lives. The children currently under the NGO’s wing are leading better and happier lives than with their families. The team at the Non-Governmental Organization keeps the needs and requirements of these children In mind. It caters to their medical, emotional and mental needs better than their families and communities.

It is important to note that these children work diligently to make people aware of their superstitions and misbeliefs.
