The social media influencer urged his followers not to engage in “any form of Tribal Hate or Bigotry” after the results were declared for the Presidential elections of Nigeria, announcing the All Progressive Congress Candidate, Bola Ahmad Tinubu as the new president of Nigeria.

Countrywide elections to appoint the new president of Nigeria were held on February 25, several areas of the country also observed reelections in absence of proper and fair elections. The elections were marred with reports of violence and attempts at sabotage in many areas. Accordingly, several social media influencers and prominent celebrities of Nigeria, Including Macaroni came forward to appeal to their fans and followers to refrain from such behaviour.

“We must stop any form of Tribal Hate or Bigotry because any candidate who emerges as President freely and fairly will be President of Nigeria and not President of his tribe. We must all do better!!!” Macaroni shared through his official Twitter account.

Macaroni wants to convey from his tweet that citizens of Nigeria should accept Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President of Nigeria without creating tribal hate. If Nigerians are claiming that it’s far a person from their tribe that ought to be President due to the fact their tribe comes first, then allow their candidate to be the Leader in their tribe.

Further, he added, “If you are claiming that it is someone from your tribe that must be President because your tribe comes first, then let your candidate be the Leader of your tribe. Why do you want the person to be President of a Nation that consists of many other tribes? Please do better!!!”

The Nigerian Presidential Election 2023 was held on 25th February 2023. This election performs a critical position for the civilians of Nigeria because their county is going through a monetary disaster. Consequently, choosing a great leader who can deliver the county out of its way is very necessary.

The government will also have a new vice president due to this election. There are a total of 18 candidates from various political parties participating. Three of the 18 candidates are well-known and well-liked politicians nationwide, so they have the best chance of winning this election. After defeating two other prominent candidates, Bola Ahmed Tinubu won the presidential election in Nigeria. Three days later, observers complained about widespread logistical flaws, violence stifling the vote, and false accusations from opposition parties. Tinubu sees his victory as the fulfilment of a long-held ambition.

Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu was born 29 March 1952. He is a Nigerian accountant, politician and the president-elect of Nigeria. During the brief Third Republic, he was a Senator for Lagos West and Governor of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007.

Tinubu was born in southwestern Nigeria, but he later moved to the United States to study; at the beginning of the 1980s, he returned to Nigeria and got a job there.
