Nigeria: Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) partners with Arabatech, PNAIL and the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry to promote the adoption of eNaira.

Nigeria: Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) partners with Arabatech, PNAIL and the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry to promote the adoption of eNaira.

CBN will continue to innovate and upgrade eNaira platform to serve businesses and deepen the digital economy in Nigeria. The bank is already partnering with Fintechs with a robust helpdesk to provide support for merchants and other users towards a seamless adoption of the #eNaira. eNaira can now facilitate payments using QR codes, USSD, 10 digit eNaira Wallet ID.

CBN has approved a reward scheme for merchants and other users of the eNaira. This include providing merchants with the required promotional (marketing) materials and subsidising the current Merchant Service Charge by 50%.

Central Bank of Nigeria in collaboration with Arabatech, PNAIL and Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry invite Merchants, Traders, Cooperative societies, Hotels, Supermarkets, Restaurant chains, Service providers, Private School Owners, Transporters, SME’s, etc to the Abuja eNaira Merchants’ Mega Event.

Owners or Directors of business entities desiring to Onboard/Register as Merchants at the event would be required to provide the following information; BVN,TIN,NIN, CAC Registration Number.

Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS) Instant Payment (NIP) is now available on the eNaira platform. This enables you to transfer funds from your eNaira wallet to any Bank account of your choice in Nigeria using the NIBSS Instant Payment (NIP) feature on the eNaira platform.

To use the feature, Kindly visit your Google Playstore or Apple App store to update your eNaira Speed wallet or simply login to your wallet via the web at https://mywallet.enaira.gov.ng
