Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President of Nigeria, has described the governor of the state of Anambra, Prof Chukwumma Charles Soludo, as an asset to Nigeria and its people, whose advice has always been sought on the economic issues of the nation.
Osinbajo, a presidential candidate under the All Progressive Congress, APC, reassured the Anambrarians regarding the fight against the insecurity in the nation.
Speaking regarding when he visited the state, Osinbajo expressed his gratitude towards the Governor Soludo for the warm welcome accorded to him as well as his entourage.
Osinbajo has reassured Governor Soludo of maintaining the existing collaboration between the Federal government and Anambra State in tackling the situation of insecurity in the state.
He reiterated that conflicts regarding security stay the first order of business while highlighting that the President of the country, Buhari, has presently re-engineered the security architecture and ensured that the strategic norms would soon start to yeild the result that is desired.
While reacting to this, Soludo said that the Vice President for his exemplary leadership role as the chairman of the National Economic Council and in other regions where he acted on behalf of the President of the nation.
Governor Soludo once again called upon the Progressives in the nation, irrespective of party affiliation, to make a coalition in the building of a better and more stronger country.

Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR (born on 28 July 1960) is a Nigerian politician and economics teacher who has served as the fifth democratic Governor of Anambra State since 17 March 2022. On 9 November 2021, Soludo, symbolising the All Progressives Grand Alliance, was announced the winner of the 2021 Anambra State gubernatorial election, beating his closest competitors from the PDP and APC, Valentine Ozigbo and Emmanuel Nnamdi Uba, respectively.
