He wrote on his Facebook post, addressing the men of Nigeria. He stated. If you are a man in Nigeria footing your bills and those of others and still breathing, praise God.

According to the Journalist, To be a man in this country is not easy. Your income has stayed the same in the past four years, but the market prices of everything have more than doubled.

However, Phils believes that no one cares. With that same income, you are expected to do the magic and still meet up with all responsibilities

He further expressed that (The men of Nigeria) have been doing just that. For this reason, Comrade Phils proclaimed that the men (of Nigeria) are heroes!

Further, he stated that Everyone cries to (the men) when they are pained. However, you cry to no one but yourself when you are distressed. While they call you a strong man, they have no idea you sometimes need help.

The journalist addressed the men, sympathizing with their plight, stating that (they) foot those bills alone for years, and no one notices. Meanwhile, everyone hears of how you can’t be man enough the day you can’t.

You make your budgets alone, but everyone makes theirs with you.

Some say you have a hero mindset but want to help others grow. And when you are down, you realize you have been alone all this while.

He urged the men to celebrate themselves. He stated:

You have been a hero all the while and didn’t notice.

I celebrate all men today.
