The government of the Commonwealth of Dominica persists to invest in climate-resilient housing as it is working to become the "world's first climate-resilient country." The nation, which came across many natural disasters in the past years, is now concentrating on constructing a resilient infrastructure that has the ability to withstand a natural calamity, including category five hurricanes.

The Caribbean region is usually exposed to climate change; the small island nation of the Commonwealth of Dominica makes all its attempts to reduce carbon footprints in the region and promote sustainability. The government of the Caribbean is now constructing a Geothermal Power Plant in Roseau Valley that will provide power to 23000 homes on the island. Dominica's government commissioned three primary schools during the weekend after storm Hurricane Maria in 2017. Stevens Primary School, Wills Strathmore Stevens Primary and the Morne Jaune Primary School were reopened after proper renovation. The schools now include modern education technology, a highly developed learning environment, and climate-resilient infrastructure.

The world-famous Jazz 'n Creole Festival of Dominica has made a come back after two-year break caused due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event took place on May 1, 2022, at the Cabrits National Park - Fort Shirley in Portsmouth. The festival was jointly organized by the Ministry of Tourism, International Transport and Maritime Initiatives and the Discover Dominica Authority.

The smallest country in the Caribbean, St Kitts and Nevis was the first to launch the Citizenship by Investment Programme in 1984. The CBI programme of the island nation is now considered as the "platinum standard" in the CBI industry all around the world.
