Onuorah introduced the group members to the head of the council, Transition Committee Chairman. At this time, Onuorah noted that the group was formally known as “Omambala Traders”. However, they have officially changed to a new name, “Soludo Action Ladies”.

The leader of the Soludo Action Ladies expressed her support to the executive Governor of Anambra, Charles Soludo. Onuorah said that the group had placed the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo’s agenda, at the top of their scale of preference.

Receiving the group, the council boss commended them on the idea of having a new name. The Transition Committee Chairman welcomed the group warmly. She was highly committed to bringing the contribution of women to the forefront of state politics.

She further said that they should not relentlessly ensure that women in their various locations are carried along in all their dealings but also put more effort and deliver the message of Soludo’s agenda on every doorstep.

Delivering a vote of thanks, Amalachukwu Ekwunife-Obioha appreciated the council boss for her motherly advice and assured her that they would strive to operate an open-door policy. The highlight of the visit was the presentation of a wall clock to Amaka Obi. The glimpses from the meeting were shared on various social media.
