It was December 2019, and the children and Anja decorated Land of Hope with Christmas trees. We were singing Christmas songs, and I never imagined that this joyful day would end up like it did. Accordingly, Anja Loven shared the story of Savior’s rescue. The child has been living with the people of the NGO for more than three years .

Anja further shared that the holiday spirit suddenly erupted when we got an emergency call. Some onlookers had spotted a child alongside the road. The child was lying in between iron pipes. He was half-naked and in severe pain. Anja recollected that the child was literally crying in pain.

The Founder of Land of Hope confessed that she did not think Saviour would survive. However, he did against all odds, and for the past three years, he has developed into a handsome young boy with growing confidence.

She also recollected, 3 years ago, Saviour could not even read two words. Today he is in Primary 4 and can read books and write essays. He is above average, and his words are always coordinated when he speaks. Thank you, Saviour, for being the light you are. Your smile is healing.
