PM Drew reminds to seek children’s medical funds, expresses commitment toward health sector

Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew reminded citizens to seek children's medical funds, which are available for everyone in the Federation. The fund was introduced in May 2022 to support the people with medical assistance

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew reminded citizens to seek children’s medical funds, which are available for everyone in the Federation. The fund was introduced in May 2022 to support the people with medical assistance. 

It is a matter of great joy that PM Drew himself donated a portion of his salary to the charitable cause to benefit the needy. The citizens need to get the doctor’s referral, and they can contact his office for further process.

The leader of St Kitts and Nevis took to his official social media handle (Facebook) to give a gentle reminder regarding the medical fund.  

“I just received a call from a parent seeking assistance for their child from the children’s medical fund. 

This is a gentle reminder that the program is open to all citizens in St Kitts and Nevis. All that is needed is a referral from the doctor and you can contact my office”, PM Drew added. 

The prime minister of St Kitts and Nevis expressed his commitment to supporting the children in his country with every possible medical facility for their excellent health. 

He felt joy while saying that the majority of the children in the Federation have already benefitted from the facility and are thankfully alive today. 

Now, parents are not supposed to wait in a queue and depend on sponsor sheets to find out if their child lives or dies. The leader of St Kitts and Nevis has always been committed to improving the health of its people with every possible requirement.

He wants his citizens to have every medical assistance instead of looking out for the same in other countries. Many people across the nation lauded his untiring efforts to meet the necessities of lives of people. 

While reacting to the post, a person named Naomi Warde commented, “Great Job Prime Minister keep up the good works. Stay focus, continue smiling and keep your country inform. You deserve any good things that comes your way. May God continue to walk ahead of and your cabinet as you continue to serve us all.”

Another FB user, by the name of Wendy Knight, wrote, “Great job Prime minister Drew. Glory be to God for giving you such a caring heart. Keep putting God first place and guided by Bible principle and instructions in your governing.”
