Saint Lucia: Ernest Hilaire shares schedule for Saint Lucia Carnival

The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Ernest Hilaire, recently took to his social media account to launch the festivities of the Saint Lucia Carnival. The Deputy Prime Minister handles the responsibility for the Ministry of Tourism and the Creative economy.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Ernest Hilaire, recently took to his social media account to launch the festivities of the Saint Lucia Carnival. The Deputy Prime Minister handles the responsibility for the Ministry of Tourism and the Creative economy. He is also responsible for the National Carnival. Accordingly, he has shared a detailed schedule for the Carnival. 

The Deputy Prime Minister shared the schedule on his social media account. According to Deputy Prime Minster, this year’s Carnival will be one of the biggest with the return of many of our National Programs. The lineup of programmes will include the following:

  • Kiddies Carnival 
  • School’s Panorama and Jouvert. 

According to Minister Ernest Hilaire, The people of Saint Lucia will also see the return of community carnivals throughout the island. Meanwhile, Carnival is one of our premier cultural and creative industry activities, and we must nurture it and help it grow. We must also make it inclusive to everyone and encourage participation island-wide. The Lucian Carnival will start from July 1 and conclude, July 19
