Eze stated the alleged Federal Government’s insensitivity necessitated the withdrawal of service to the plight of bakers around the nation, which has negatively impacted their businesses.

The rate of bakery materials has increased steadily as a bag of flour which hitherto price N25,000, now costs more than N27,000.

He further stated that we are not undertaking the measure to the disadvantage of our consumers but to assist them and increase our businesses.

The state chairman said that the Federal Government to address the challenges urgently to ensure that bakers dutifully provide their services to the people.

The government must cut appropriate taxes and check the ever-rising exchange rate of foreign currencies.

The producers of bakery products argue that such increment impacts the prices of the materials.

The citizens of Nigeria are aware of the nation’s worst economic situation and the added challenges required for this action.

He further urged the customers to compromise with them as normalcy will come back when the issues are addressed.
